XP
Home Edition does not have a User Account Manager (cf 2000 & XP Pro) and
this effectively restricts the IIS FTP server to anonymous access. I decided
instead to install a third party FTP Server
Stopping
the IIS FTP Server is straightforward. Open the Internet Services Manager (via
Control Panel - Administrative Tools – Internet Services Manager). Right-click
on FTP Site and click ‘Stop’.

I
chose Cesar FTP Server available from www.aclogic.com
“CesarFTP
